Use of summer soybean field herbicides

This product is a selective, systemic herbicide that is absorbed and translocated within the plant. It is highly effective against grassy weeds such as barnyardgrass, goosegrass, crabgrass, foxtail, and other annual weeds like amaranth and green foxtail. Additionally, it can control perennial grasses including bermudagrass (commonly known as horse grass), nutsedge, and reeds. For application in soybean fields, the best time to spray is when grassy weeds have 3–5 leaves. Apply 60 ml per acre of fine granular formulation mixed with 30 kg of water. To target reeds specifically, increase the dosage to 100 ml per acre, using the same amount of water. In fields with broadleaf weeds, this product can be combined with herbicides like bentazon. The recommended mixture is 5% galenol at 60 ml plus 48% bentazon at 170 ml per acre, mixed with 30 kg of water for application. Alachlor is a selective pre-emergence herbicide used as a soil treatment. Once applied to the soil surface, it effectively controls annual grass weeds without requiring cultivation, especially under good soil moisture conditions. It also works well on certain small-seeded broadleaf weeds such as pigweed, purslane, and common lambsquarters. To use Alachlor, apply it before soybean planting and after sowing. The recommended rate is 320 ml of 43% Alachlor per acre mixed with 30 kg of water. Ensure even coverage during spraying. For fields with both grassy and broadleaf weeds, combine it with 80% Kusaoqing. Mix 320 ml of 43% Alachlor with 50 g of 80% Kusaoqing per acre, and spray with 30 kg of water. In the Huaibei and Huaihei regions, many farmers practice no-till or stubble sowing, leaving a lot of wheat straw on the soil surface. To ensure proper chemical application, the "toxic soil method" can be used. Prepare the mixture by first diluting 320 ml of Alachlor in 0.5 kg of water, then spraying it onto 2 kg of dry, fine soil using a sprayer. Mix thoroughly to create toxic soil. After sowing, spread the treated soil evenly over the field. If there is sufficient rainfall, applying 2 kg of toxic soil per acre will help seal the soil and provide excellent weed control, achieving results comparable to traditional spraying methods.
