“Think Outside the Bread” // Lunchtime Tips on Daytime TV

It's been a few weeks since the school year kicked off, and the initial excitement has settled down into the familiar rhythm of daily life. Remember all the buzz about perfectly organized backpacks, brand-new lunchboxes, and carefully curated outfits? It seems like everyone was ready to dive into the school routine with enthusiasm. But now that we're a couple of weeks in, it's clear that most parents have traded their back-to-school pep for the comfort of yoga pants and the predictability of routine. How about those lunches though? Are they still holding up, or are you looking for a bit of inspiration to keep things interesting? I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately because, as many of you might know, I recently appeared on a popular daytime TV show that broadcasts in over 140 cities across the U.S. It was such a cool experience, even if I ended up forgetting half of what I wanted to say when the cameras rolled. I managed to share some tips on packing lunches that kids will actually eat—and enjoy—without relying on bread. It was fun, chaotic, and a little nerve-wracking all at once! [Insert images] If you’re familiar with me, you’ll understand that I lost my voice the night before filming and tried everything under the sun to get it back. Spoiler alert: there were a few squeaky moments during the taping. If you’re not familiar, just ignore that last sentence—it doesn’t matter anyway. I apologize in advance for the video quality—it’s not great, but this is all I have at the moment. Despite its shortcomings, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Whether you’re homeschooling or sending your kids to traditional schools, I hope your year is off to a fantastic start. xo [Signature image]
