The flowers grow in terminal racemes, with bell-shaped sepals and lip-shaped corollas that have a long tube extending beyond the flower.
The flowers are small, tubular, and come in vibrant red and yellow hues. When in bloom, they resemble a string of red gunpowder, hence one of its common names.
Origin: Native to South Africa.
Growth Habits:
This plant thrives in warm, sunny conditions but can tolerate partial shade. It prefers well-drained, loose, and fertile soil. Avoid direct, intense sunlight, as it may cause stress to the plant.
