Laboratory Preparation Plan
Daily analytical materials of the laboratory include carbon steel, low alloy steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, cast iron, ductile iron, non-ferrous metals, and others. Main elements analyzed are C, S, Si, Mn, P, Cr, Ni, Mo, Cu, Fe, V, Ti, Re, Mg, etc.
1. Determination of Laboratory Location:
The laboratory should be located away from main roads and large seismic sources, in a factory that does not have workshops emitting significant smoke or dust.
2. Overall Design of the Laboratory:
Based on the characteristics of the materials and elements being analyzed, each sub-room should be set up, arranged scientifically, and equipped with power lines, water pipes, and sewage systems. Proper lighting, natural ventilation, and illumination should also be considered.
3. Laboratory Power Equipment:
The diameter of the power supply wire should be determined based on the total power of the equipment. The laboratory should have a dedicated power line and good grounding to ensure safety and stability.
4. Laboratory Safety Measures:
Most chemicals used in the lab are toxic, some highly toxic, corrosive, flammable, or explosive. Therefore, it's crucial to classify and store them properly. Qualified labs should have dedicated storage rooms for chemicals and install fire prevention facilities inside.

Third, Auxiliary Equipment
1. TG328A mechanical balance (1200 yuan, 0.1mg accuracy), or Shanghai Yueping electronic balance (4500 yuan, 0.1mg accuracy);
2. Distilled water system (5 liters/hour, usually not required by customers);
3. Glassware and reagents (purchased by customer or company, around 1200 yuan for Mn, P, Si);
4. Standards (90 yuan/bottle, purchased by customer or company);
5. Drill stand and oxygen (provided by customer).
Fourth, Detoxification Equipment (Exhaust Facilities)
One fume hood (customer purchase).
Fifth, Workbench Setup
Customers can purchase reagent racks for easy access to pipettes and test tubes. The workbench should be placed at a distance from instruments. It can be used for preparing reagents and chemical operations. Other areas can house the main instruments like balances and analyzers. Ensure proper spacing between major equipment to avoid interference from temperature, voltage, and chemical fumes.
Six, Chemical Laboratory Floor Plan and Decoration Requirements

Seven, Notes:
This plan follows laboratory accreditation requirements. The lab is generally divided into a chemical analysis room and an instrument analysis room using gypsum board partitions. Drainage, ventilation, and power must be available.
A: Fume hood specification (150x80x235 cm), with fluorescent lighting and a small pool for cooling operations. Countertop made of anti-corrosion material with a power outlet.
B: Acid and alkali resistant PP material for sink and drainage pipes (85x75x85 cm), with a drip stand and triple tap.
C: Dissolution table (130x75x85 cm), with anti-corrosion countertop and two-layer reagent shelf.
D: Standard platform (90x60x80 cm), marble countertop.
E: Multi-element analyzer table (110x75x85 cm), with space under the table for water collection bin.
F: Carbon-sulfur analyzer table (150x75x85 cm), ordinary wear-resistant surface.
All tables are 85 cm high and 75 cm wide. The length varies as shown in the diagram. Tabletops can be made of phenolic or epoxy resin boards. Tables C and E are separated for glassware and reagents.
G: Oxygen cylinder cabinet (50x50x180 cm) for placing the carbon-sulfur analyzer.
H: Sample preparation area with a steel bench drill base (100x50x10 cm), anti-vibration and movable.
Power Supply: Install 220V three-phase power, with outlets in each area.
Lighting: Two fluorescent lamps per room.
The chemical analysis room can have a window exhaust fan. A large glass partition at 85 cm height separates the middle wall, increasing light and allowing sliding doors.
Instrument room can serve as a sample storage cabinet, with air conditioning installed.
The layout is designed for efficient analysis and operation. However, depending on the site, the sample table may need to be 1.5 meters long. Instruments are limited in length and may feel cramped. If there is space in the upper right corner, the sink can be placed next to the fume hood. Since steel testing requires a large fume hood, it should not be too small. Bench drills and grinders are also needed for tempering labs. Due to limited space, grinders should be placed elsewhere due to sparks. Use a quality bench drill, preferably over 1000 yuan, to ensure durability during long-term iron drilling.
