What is banana anti-season cultivation

Spring and summer bananas are also known as anti-season bananas. They refer to the bananas harvested from midsummer to early summer. Time refers to 3-5 months, and sometimes refers to February-June, including the old flower banana (snow jujube) and most of the new flower bananas. Due to the lower temperature in winter and spring, the yield is lower. China is a fruit off-season from March to May, so banana prices are higher and it is also advantageous to store and transport bananas. However, although the anti-season bananas can avoid wind damage, they often suffer from cold damage. Severe cold damages occurred for two consecutive years of frost in 1992-1993, and bananas in most banana growing areas were destroyed, leaving most banana farmers unprofitable and producing bananas. It has a serious impact, so anti-season bananas can only achieve good results in warmer winter or regions in winter.
