These findings highlight the importance of potassium in supporting the growth of insect-resistant cotton. Therefore, it is essential to promote the widespread use of potash fertilizer in cotton farming. In addition to potassium, attention should also be given to the application of phosphate and micronutrient fertilizers. Adjusting the nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium ratio to 1:0.5:0.5 or similar balanced proportions will help ensure optimal plant health and productivity.
