Symptoms mainly damage the leaves and stems of broad beans. Leaf lesions on both sides of the initial leaf can produce light green lesions, uplift, appearing round to oblate small tumors, a few millimeters in diameter, rough surface, solitary or grouped. Later, the leaves curled into a deformed shape. The tumor showed brown ulceration and the diseased leaves withered. Stems infected with many uplifted tumors, similar in shape to tumors on the leaves, dwarf diseased plants and poor growth.

Pathogen Olpidium viciae Kusano Kusan. The so-called broad bean oil bacterium is a flagellin subphylum. Many sporangia can be produced within the diseased tissue. The sporangium germinates to produce a spore release tube, releasing zoospore, the size of 6-7 is 5 (um), single flagellum, after a period of swimming on the surface of the faba bean, for amoebic movement. After flagella contraction, a layer of envelope is formed on the outside, and the membrane has pores. The protoplasm is introduced into the epidermal cells of the host to form amoeba-like protoplasts and adhere to the host cell nucleus. The nuclear fission within this protoplasmic mass develops into a sporangia. Zoospores combine in pairs to form a double flagellar zygote, rest after a short swim, and form a capsule in vitro, and the contained protoplasm is input into host cells. The zygote can form a resting sporangia and overwintering outside the host.

Transmission routes and onset conditions crossed with resting sporangia. In the spring of the following year, dormant sporangia germinate, release single flagellum zoospores, invade young shoots, young stems and young leaves of broad bean, form thin-walled zoosporangium in host cells, and cause the disease of soybean seedlings. This zoosporangium vesicle was released again by release of zoospores for reinfection. The incubation period was 10 to 14 days.

Control methods (1) Selection of disease-resistant varieties such as Qinghai ox-corn bean curd, Fenglaihudou, Mucan Kang beans, Xichang beans, Puxi large white beans, Jinchuan beans and so on. (2) The three-year rotation system of bean, wheat or potato or the use of intercropping with beans and wheat has a significant effect on disease prevention. (3) Clean the pastoral area after harvest. (4) Chemical control 1 Seed dressing with 0.1% seed weight of 15% triadimefon wettable powder with significant control effect. 8 At the beginning of the disease, spray 2d% triadimefon WP 600 times or 70% thiophanate-methyl WP 1000 times, 50% benomyl WP 1000-1500 times, control 2-3 times.
