Occurrence and Prevention of Wind Damage in Greenhouse

I. Causes of wind damage in plastic greenhouses
1. When the wind blows, the shed film rubs against the bracket. If the bracket is not smooth, it can easily cause a hole. If it is not repaired in time, the holes will grow bigger and bigger.
2. The vents were too late to close, strong winds blew into the shed, and bulges over the shed, causing damage.
3. The shed film is not tightly displayed, and the lamination line does not have enough elasticity or pull force, which can easily cause a large break. The ground anchor wire is buried shallow, and the whole piece of plastic film is easily blown by the wind.
4. Older, more broken membranes are more prone to wind damage.
5. Membrane and stents are of poor quality and cannot withstand the onslaught of winds.
6. Management is not proper. Did not pay attention to weather changes, did not take timely measures to protect.
Second, measures to prevent wind damage
1. Selection of good varieties should be selected varieties that are resistant to cold, pests and diseases, and have strong vitality. For example, cabbage 8231 and 8398 are more resistant than Qingfeng and Cabernet Cabernet. The magical grape Guangtai 8 and Red Globe grape are more resistant than Kyoho grapes. After the storm, the hazard rate is low and the recovery ability is strong.
2. The wind barrier is set between 1 m and 2 m away from the shed. The wind barrier is made from corn stalks and sorghum straw. When empty sheds are built, there must be windbreaks around.
3. When constructing the sheds, the specifications strictly comply with the requirements for building sheds. The walls of the greenhouse and the back roof should be plastered and sealed, and the film should be tightly attached to the back roof. Conditional buffers can be set.
4. Reinforced laminating line is pressed with a special laminating line. Change the conventional 100 cm 1 lamination line to 50 cm 1 lamination line, and use a wire at intervals of 300 cm for the lamination line and tighten it with a tightener.
5. It is best to use a common anchor for fixing the membrane. The method is: Every 2 meters buried with a wire screwed brick, a depth of about 50 cm. The wire head was screwed into the circle to the surface. After burial, tighten each anchor with a 12-gauge wire, and each lamination line can be screwed onto this common wire.
6. The single membrane overall coverage selection membrane is the key, should choose not to be old, no holes in the film, it is best to use a new high-quality membrane, such as a new generation of anti-fog polyethylene non-drip greenhouse film. According to the shed body, a single membrane with a corresponding specification width is selected. The single membrane covers the ground as a whole, leaving no seams, and the periphery is compacted and pressed.
7. Cover grasshoppers and strengthen the management of the film after careful management, every 3 days - 5 days, a tight film line, a hole in time to make up, in order to solve the air temperature control and wind blown film conflict, can be spaced 3 meters - 5 meters to put a straw pressure film. In the evening windy season, the grasshopper should be covered with a pressure and a wind direction. The grasshoppers should be covered with straws and pressed with stones. If the wind is heavy at night, it is best for people not to leave and repair the membrane in time.
8. Transverse "belt" Using 2 - 3 cover film cover film, film edge suture film must be added to a large strength of the pull for the "belt." The method is: the laminating film or nylon rope used for lacing is clamped in the film, and the shed film is heated with an iron or iron. After the film is attached, both ends of the rope are fixed, and the length of the shed body is every 5 meters to 10 meters. Fixed once.
9. Pressing the upper edge of the conventional cover film method presses the lower edge. This method has a gap at the junction, the wind by the resistance, making the small open small wind, large wind and large, if you change to the next pressure on the edge, the wind is not easy to blow the film open, even if the rain flow in the shed is not a big problem .
10. The spacing between the rods or tie rods of the shed structure or the greenhouse frame or the greenhouse film is preferably 10 cm to 15 cm. The spacing is too small to break the shed film, and the second one has the supporting function to make it difficult to compact the shed film. The bracket is firm and the area in contact with the membrane should be smooth.
11. Adhering to multi-layer coverage and double-layer grasshoppers, adding paper quilts or quilts, or using double-layered membranes, or adding sheds in sheds, etc. can improve windproof effects.
12. Concerned about the weather, greenhouse vegetables and fruits are affected by the weather. Before the advent of special weather, we must prepare for prevention.
