How to regulate the temperature of the fish pond

Different aquaculture objects have different temperature ranges, and different seasonal temperatures and water temperatures have very obvious changes. How to take appropriate measures to actively regulate water temperature to ensure safe wintering for different breeding objects, and to breed and grow rapidly within the optimum temperature range is one of the important technologies that each breeding producer should seriously study and master.
It is impossible for the current production technology level to completely control the water temperature in general ponds, but some adjustments and controls can be made. Active regulation of pond water temperature can effectively increase aquaculture production and economic benefits. The relevant technical briefs are as follows for your reference.
1. Adjust the water level according to different seasons and control the water temperature. If the temperature is low in spring, the water level of the fish pond should be shallow, which will help increase the water temperature of the pond, and it is also conducive to fish feeding, growth and the cultivation of natural food organisms. As the season advances, the temperature gradually rises, the fish body gradually grows up, and the water level of the fish pond must be deepened accordingly. At the highest temperature in summer, the pool water should be added to the highest water level, so that the water temperature in the lower layer of the pond will not be too high. Through the convection, the temperature of the entire pool water will not exceed the appropriate temperature range of the fish, which will help the habitat and growth of the fish.
2. In order to ensure that the fish pond has a higher water temperature, the taller trees should not be planted on the edge of the pond, nor should there be tall buildings. There should be no emergent plants and floating leaf plants in the pool so as not to cover the sunlight and affect the increase of water temperature.
3. If a stream or spring with a low temperature is used to raise warm-water fish, it should be allowed to go through a long process before being injected into the pond or stored in a storage tank for a certain period of time to increase the water temperature.
4. In areas with large winds, the jungle can be planted near the pond to prevent high winds and keep the pond at a certain temperature. In winter, setting up a windproof shed on the north of the fish wintering pool can also prevent the pond water temperature from falling too low. At present, the wintering pool of tilapia in some areas is made of glass as the top of the house and heated in the water with dilute ion underwater heaters, etc., which can increase the water temperature and make tilapia safe for winter.
5. Where conditions permit, underground warm spring water or factory temperature drainage can be used to increase the temperature of the pond water, but the scale of application may not be large. For example, in many areas of China, the use of thermal drainage of power plants to increase the pond water temperature can promote the development of grass carp, pupae and pupa gonads and early spawning. The use of hot spring water for tilapia wintering is effective. The use of factory warm water for warm-water fish farming can effectively increase fish production per unit of water.
