Freshwater lobster rearing technology

Freshwater lobster is low-fat, low-cholesterol and high-protein, nutrient-rich, nourishing and health care, and has a large body weight. Generally, it has a body weight of 100-200 grams, and the largest individual is about 500 grams. It has a fast growth and a high yield.
The year of stocking can be harvested at the same time. The output of fresh shrimp per mu is about 500 kg. It has strong adaptability, can endure bad weather conditions, and can survive between 3-35°C in water temperature, eating mixed food, and eating both animal feeds. Eating artificial foods and humus, and crude and easy-to-feed, artificially feeding freshwater lobster is a common way for farmers and friends.
1. Pond construction Freshwater lobsters prefer to live in fresh water and oxygen-rich water environments. Therefore, the construction of ponds should be chosen where the ventilation is sunny, the water sources are adequate, there is no pollution source, and the water injection and drainage are convenient.
Each pond is 2-8 mu and the water depth is 1-1.5 meters. The bottom of the pond is silt and flat. The whole pond requires no water leakage. Filters should be installed at the inlet and outlet of the pond to prevent the entry of harmful organisms such as wild fish.
There must be a 50-cm-high anti-escape facility around the pond. Around the pond, it is necessary to stock aquatic plants, water hyacinths, water lettuces, and other aquatic plants. The coverage is generally 1/3 of the surface of the pond. A certain number of shades such as stones and tiles should be placed in the pool for the shelter of lobster.

2. Clear pond disinfection Newly built lobster ponds can be used to clear the pond with lime, the amount of 100 kg per mu. If lobsters are bred in old ponds, they must be sterilized by dry ponds. In addition to splashing lime, they must thoroughly remove predators, maggots, black fish, snakes and rats.

3. 10 to 15 days before the stocking of shrimp seedlings for stocking, 200 kg of organic fertilizer is adequately cooked in an amount of about 200 kg per mu. The time for stocking the shrimp should be from March to May. Choose sunny morning or evening and pay attention to temperature difference. If the temperature difference is large, first use a small amount of water to slowly adjust the water temperature in the container for transporting the seedlings. When the water temperature in the container is close to the temperature of the pool water, gently put the shrimp into the pool to prevent the shrimp

"cold". The stocking size of shrimps is generally 3-5 cm, and the stocking density is 3500-4000 tails per mu; if the shrimps are smaller, the stocking capacity can be increased appropriately, and the specifications of the shrimps stocked in the same pond need to be neat and consistent.
4. After three days of putting the seedlings carefully, the minced fish and minced meat are minced. In the following month, the small fish, meat, or artificial diets will be put in place; until the shrimp grows to 6-7 cm. At the time, all of the crushed snails, river clams and appropriate amount of plant foods can be fed. The amount of daily feeding is full, no food is left, and no residual baits are left. Generally, medium and small lobsters are bred at 15%-20% of body weight, and adult prawn is fed at 5%-10% of body weight. Feed it once a day in the morning and evening, 70%-80% of the total amount in the evening, and the bait should be put in the shallow water around the pond. Where the lobster is concentrated, it can be cast more properly to facilitate its feeding and the feeders to check the eating situation.

5. Strengthen the management of freshwater lobster growth fast, strong metabolism, oxygen consumption. Therefore, the water quality of ponds should always be kept fresh. Generally, the depth of water should be 15-20 cm deep every week to ensure that the water quality is good and there is enough dissolved oxygen to keep the transparency of the pool water at about 35 cm.
In daily management, it is necessary to inspect and diligently inspect the ponds and timely remove the moss from the pool; constantly check the inlet and outlet filter screens to prevent worms or wild fish and other harmful organisms from entering due to broken filter screens. When thunderstorms are encountered In bad weather such as hot days and rainy days, it is necessary to reduce or stop feeding. When the weather is too hot and cold, pool water should be properly deepened to stabilize the bottom water temperature.
At the same time, it is also necessary to constantly observe the feeding and activity, growth, and shelling of freshwater lobster so that necessary technical measures can be taken in time. If the lobster is found to be unresponsive, swims to the shore, floats to the shore and climbs, it indicates that there is severe lack of oxygen. It is necessary to promptly add water or increase the oxygen in the aerator.
6. Disease prevention and control Freshwater lobsters have higher stocking densities and more diseases, so we must pay attention to prevention and control. One is shrimp shell disease. The disease is caused by fungal infections caused by lobsters attacked by chitin-decomposing bacteria.
Usually the edge or top of the shrimp shell is most vulnerable to attack, bacteria can quickly enter the body through the epidermis, causing internal injuries. Can be mixed with 0.9ppm malachite green and 2ppm formalin lobster dipping, medicine bath 20-30 minutes. The second is smut. Mainly caused by water pollution and fungal infections. The symptom is that the sputum changes from red to brown or light brown until it is completely black, causing atrophy of the sputum. The control method is:
The diseased lobsters were immersed 2-3 times in 2-3 ppm oxazolone for 8-10 minutes each, or with 10 ppm methylene blue Quanchiposa. The third is ciliate disease. It is mainly polykeets, bell-shaped insects, etc., which are attached to the body surface, appendages, eyes and tendons of lobsters. When the infection is serious, they can make lobsters restless, swimming frequently at the poolside, preventing food intake, oyster shells and Grow. If a large number of epiphytes on the cockroach, can cause lobster anoxia suffocation death. In general, fresh water can be poured and the pool water can be kept clean for prevention. Treatment can be performed by dipping the diseased lobster in 0.4 ppm copper sulfate solution for 5-6 hours for 3-5 consecutive days.
7. Timely Harvest Freshwater lobster grows fast, usually in March-April, and can be harvested in October-November. At the time of harvesting, one-time fishing can be performed in the evening with dry ponds or seine nets. If you want to list in batches, you can use net fishing.
