Get World Bank Loan Project

Since 2004, Chen Luwu has invested his profits from operating liquefied gas stations for many years on new technologies and products at Xiaozhou Gas Station, and his straw gas users have also increased to more than 400 households.
In August 2007, the World Bank looked for a number of agricultural development projects in China. In August this year, Chen Luwu declared success and received 8.06 million yuan of funds. Since then, Chen Luwu has started his second venture. He told reporters that 1 kilogram of straw can produce 0.6 cubic meters of gas and 0.3 kilograms of charcoal, while the cost per kilogram of straw is only 0.2 yuan, and the current per cubic meter of gas is 0.9 yuan. The promotion of straw gas not only can greatly reduce the pollution of straw burning, but also can obtain considerable benefits, which is in line with national policies.
According to the plan, Chen Luwu must first improve the underground pipe network of Xiaozhou Village and lead each household. By 2010, over 2,400 villagers in Xiaozhou will all use straw gas. In addition, he will also use the World Bank's funds to invest in R&D and production of straw gas production equipment, and at the same time strengthen contacts with metallurgical companies and market development of charcoal, a by-product of straw gas.
