2. To build a storage trench: Select a dry and open place and dig the trench along the east-west direction. The trench width is 1 to 1.5 meters. You can put 1 basket or box on both sides of the trench and leave the aisle in the middle. The ditch depth is 1 to 1.5 meters. It is advisable to put 2 to 3 layers of baskets or boxes in the ditch. The area with low temperature may be properly deepened, and vice versa. Ditch length is generally not more than 30 meters. Make a proper distance between the ditch and the ditch to facilitate operation. When there is a lot of rain and snow, ditches drain water separately on both sides of the ditch. 3. Storage operation: Store fruits in storage and cool them in a cool and dry place. Remove mechanical wounds, pests and diseases, and soak for 2 minutes or spray with antiseptic agent. Place two temperature sensors in the fruit pile and beside the trench to observe the temperature at any time. Nighttime low-temperature bags (bags), baskets or boxes into the ditch and covered with straw. Operation time should be selected at night or early morning. After the apple enters the ditch, the temperature sensor in the fruit pile is moved into the ditch. When the outside temperature of the ditch is observed to be lower than the ditch, the straw curtain is immediately uncovered, and the ditch temperature is lowered. When the temperature inside and outside the groove is equal, use a straw curtain to cover the groove. The carbon dioxide content in the fresh-keeping bag should be maintained at 4% to 9%. Pay attention to sudden changes in the weather to prevent sudden changes in the temperature of the frozen apple.
