Gastrodia sexual reproduction effect is good

Gastrodia is a vital component of traditional Chinese medicine. However, the quality of Gastrodia elata planting has been declining, and the occurrence of serious diseases has led to low yields and poor efficiency in Tianma production. To address this issue, experts at the Fengcheng Yulong Sexual Breeding Demonstration Service Base have introduced a new method: sexual reproduction of Gastrodia. This technique not only increases the yield by 2 to 3 times compared to traditional vegetative propagation but also significantly improves the plant's resistance to disease. Sexual reproduction involves using earthworms as a key element in the process. According to expert Mo Bingyao from the Fengcheng Yulong Sexual Breeding Demonstration Service Center, most of the cultivated Gastrodia in the region relies on vegetative propagation, where the original bulbs directly interact with honey fungus to sustain growth. However, this method has limitations in terms of yield and resilience. In sexual breeding, high-quality Gastrodia seeds are selected—those that are strong, disease-free, and free from scars. These seeds are then mixed with germination bacteria and sown in moist, coarse sand or sandy loam soil. The process includes layering the seeds with germinating leaves, placing honey fungus near the roots, and covering everything with a thin layer of sand to protect from light and rain. Water is added for about half a month to help form the initial bulbs. It's important to avoid overwatering, as this can cause the seeds to rot. By November, the Gastrodia can be harvested or replanted. Mo Bingyao explained that planting during the dormancy period of Tianma can boost yields by 15% to 20%. In Baiqi Town, Fengcheng City, villager Kang Jingwei has successfully implemented this technique. He reported that his family produces more than 1,000 kilograms of dry Gastrodia per acre. With market prices ranging from 50 to 136 yuan per kilogram, this can generate a net income of up to 50,000 yuan annually, even in the worst-case scenario, it still brings in around 20,000 yuan. This innovative approach not only boosts productivity but also ensures the long-term sustainability of Gastrodia cultivation, offering farmers a promising solution to the challenges they face.

Laparoscopic instruments are medical devices used in minimally invasive procedures. These instruments are designed to be inserted through small incisions in the body, allowing surgeons to operate with less pain, scarring, and recovery time than traditional open surgery.

Advantages of Laparoscopic Instruments:

1. Smaller incisions: Laparoscopic instruments allow the use of smaller incisions, reducing scarring, pain and recovery time.
2. Improved visualization: Laparoscopic instruments provide a better view of the surgical site, allowing for more precise and accurate surgical procedures.
3. Reduced risk of infection: Compared with traditional open surgery, laparoscopic surgery usually has a lower risk of infection.
4. Reduced blood loss: Laparoscopic instruments are designed to minimize tissue trauma, thereby reducing blood loss during surgery.
5. Faster recovery: Compared with traditional open surgery, laparoscopic surgery usually has a faster recovery time, allowing patients to return to normal activities sooner.
