Scratch-skin-applying and stab-sucking mouthparts pests

Piercing and sucking insect pests include maggots, scale insects, red spiders, and mites. These pests use the sap of the plant as a food source, and continuously perform "blood sucking and pulping" to extract plant nutrition. There was no obvious damage to the surface of the plants after feeding, but spots or deformities of various colors often appeared on the leaves, such as leaf shrinkage, curling, and formation of galls and worms on leaves, stems, and roots.

When pests of sucking and sucking mouthparts feed, they often inhale the pathogenic microorganisms of the diseased plants along with the food, and then inject them into the healthy plants along with the saliva, and thus play the role of transmitting pathogens. Many locusts, leafhoppers, thrips, and planthoppers are the main vectors for the transmission of plant diseases. Therefore, they are more harmful.

It is difficult to completely remove the spray after the pests have been sucked and sucked. The affected leaves changed from green to yellow and fell off, affecting photosynthesis; the fruit stopped growing or shrivelled or even deformed; the branchlets withered and died late in the second year compared to normal trees, and the entire tree died in severe cases.

Control methods: During the period of pest damage, select the appropriate operation place on the trunk and shave the skin of the tree trunk. The depth of shave is the dew white of the trees and the green of the young trees. The depth of the shave should not be too deep to prevent the occurrence of phytotoxicity; the width is generally 20 ~ 50 cm is appropriate, the greater the width of the thicker trunk scraping, the smaller the trunk scraping the more fine, the greater the width of the tree crown scraping, the smaller the width of the crown scraping smaller. Then add 40% omethoate (forbidden to be used within 1 month before the fruit tree is harvested) and add the water in a ratio of 1:10. Apply it directly to the scraped trunk and then wrap it with a plastic wrap to prevent it. The liquid evaporates and the control effect is clearly visible after 2 days. It is necessary to use pesticides safely during the medication process to prevent poisoning of humans and animals.
